  15.                 STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY
  16.  
  17. President Clinton will visit Seoul, Korea July 10-11, 1993.  The 
  18. President will meet with President Kim Young Sam to discuss a 
  19. wide range of bilateral issues, including U.S. and Korean 
  20. interests in promoting regional security, democracy and economic 
  21. growth.  The President will visit American troops stationed at 
  22. the DMZ.  President Clinton values the close alliance between the 
  23. United States and Korea and looks forward to discussing with 
  24. President Kim ways to strengthen the relationship.
